The next meeting of the UK Mastocytosis support group
will be held in Birmingham on

Prescription Charges -
can mount up if you're on lots of medications.
Systemic Mastocytosis is classified as one of the myeloproliferative diseases. This term is usually applied to the various cancers, but DON'T PANIC!! Mastocytosis sufferers usually manage their symptoms with appropriate medication, and live a normal lifespan. The good news is that you may qualify for free prescriptions. You will need form FP92A, and send it with an accompanying letter to your GP. A sample text is given here.
